2022 — Foundation of SOLTIC AG

As part of the reorganisation of the Rapp Group into Rapp AG, the management team of Schaffrinna, Riedel, Brossok and Fischer decided to found SOLTIC AG. Most of the previous colleagues followed suit, so that work began in summer 2022 with a team of 25 employees in the St. Jakobturm in Basel.

2014 — Rebranding to Rapp Industrieplaner AG

With the Rapp Group’s new brand identity, Rapp OTB AG rebranded as Rapp Industrieplaner AG in 2014. Following the resignation of Philippe Matter in summer 2014, Alexander Schaffrinna was appointed as his successor. In the years that followed, the management team of Schaffrinna, Riedel, Brossok and Fischer accelerated the development of Rapp Industrieplaner AG.

2012 — Takeover of OTB AG by Rapp

OTB AG was acquired by Rapp in 2012. As a result, the company was renamed and integrated into the Rapp Group as Rapp OTB AG. Danny Riedel and Alexander Schaffrinna took over the management of two newly created departments.

2009 — Minority shareholding by Rapp

In 2009, the management of OTB AG decided to strengthen its collaboration with well-known clients for general planning projects by acquiring a minority stake in Rapp. This was done in order to secure the future of the industrial planning team.

1995 — Foundation of OTB AG

Following the bankruptcy of Suter+Suter, the industrial planners became independent in 1995 under the management of Philippe Matter. Even then, Beat Fischer and Klaus Brossok were part of the highly motivated team. OTB AG grew, and in 2002 Alexander Schaffrinna and Danny Riedel joined as young engineers.
