We are com­mit­ted to the future. That’s why sus­tain­abil­i­ty is a mat­ter close to our hearts. Why? We make our con­tri­bu­tion because it is sen­si­ble and moral­ly right, because sus­tain­abil­i­ty is an eco­nom­ic dri­ver and the gen­er­al reg­u­la­tions are right­ly increas­ing.

Our understanding of values

We believe that sus­tain­abil­i­ty is more than just a trend — it is a respon­si­bil­i­ty, a vision and a deci­sive fac­tor for long-term suc­cess. For us, sus­tain­abil­i­ty means act­ing con­scious­ly today to ensure a world worth liv­ing in tomor­row. This includes pro­tect­ing the envi­ron­ment, sen­si­tis­ing peo­ple in their social inter­ac­tion and eco­nom­ic aspects for long-term eco­nom­ic suc­cess.

SOLTIC’s sus­tain­abil­i­ty val­ues ref­er­ence those Sus­tain­able Devel­op­ment Goals (SDGs) — the Unit­ed Nations’ sus­tain­abil­i­ty goals — where we can have a direct impact. In par­tic­u­lar, this includes areas such as qual­i­ty edu­ca­tion, inno­va­tion, equal­i­ty and sus­tain­able labour prac­tices.

We have set our­selves clear and mea­sur­able goals. Our sus­tain­abil­i­ty goals should

  • min­imise neg­a­tive effects (reduced foot­print)
  • Improve pos­i­tive effects (enlarged hand­print)
  • Increase the attrac­tive­ness of SOLTIC for employ­ees and busi­ness part­ners
  • main­tain the eco­nom­ic effi­cien­cy of SOLTIC
