SHL Medical AG Südtor Zug

The con­struc­tion of the new head­quar­ters of SHL Med­ical AG marks the start of the trans­for­ma­tion of the south­ern area of the Tech­nol­o­gy Clus­ter Zug. The com­bi­na­tion of pro­duc­tion and offices with­in one util­i­sa­tion con­cept places high demands on the plan­ning. SOLTIC is lead­ing the plan­ning team as gen­er­al plan­ner.

From Hong Kong to Switzerland

SHL Med­ical moved its head­quar­ters to Zug a few years ago. The world’s lead­ing provider of injec­tion sys­tem solu­tions is now even clos­er to its cus­tomers and more close­ly net­worked in Europe. In addi­tion to Switzer­land, SHL has sites in Tai­wan, Swe­den and the USA.

SHL Med­ical pro­duces med­ical auto-injec­tors. These are pre-filled syringes that allow users to inject them­selves with pre-dosed med­ica­tion inde­pen­dent­ly of med­ical staff. SHL Medical’s new head­quar­ters and pro­duc­tion site is now being built in Zug as part of the “SHL-Süd­tor” project.

The SHL South Gate is being built on the Tech Clus­ter Zug AG site. As the first build­ing on the south site, it occu­pies a strate­gi­cal­ly impor­tant posi­tion. SOLTIC takes over the Gen­er­al plan­ning for sev­er­al sub-projects, BIM man­age­ment and BIM coor­di­na­tion.

  Real­i­sa­tion of the build­ing as a let­table prop­er­ty. The archi­tects Pen­zel Valier AG use as many sus­tain­able mate­ri­als as pos­si­ble for the con­struc­tion.
• Ten­ant fit-out (BAB fit-out) on behalf of SHL Med­ical AG:
  Inte­ri­or fit-out of the pro­duc­tion, logis­tics, ware­house and plant equip­ment areas as well as the oper­a­tional build­ing tech­nol­o­gy
• MEH-Süd­tor on behalf of Tech Clus­ter Zug AG and WWZ AG:
  PV sys­tem, medi­um-tem­per­a­ture and low-tem­per­a­ture cool­ing pipes, trans­fer sta­tions and e‑charging sta­tions in the under­ground car park
