Endress+Hauser Flow, New Work Infrastructure

Employees in a new workspace

SOLTIC is project managing an exciting new work infrastructure project for its client in the field of measurement and automation technology: Endress+Hauser Flow is designing new working environments for the offices in administration and production for its employees at the Reinach (BL) site. The implementation of this change process requires the gradual remodelling of approx. 14,000 m² of office space for administration and production. This is roughly equivalent to the area of a residential neighbourhood with 50 detached houses.

Space and room programme for activity-based working

The focus of the new space utilisation is “Activity Based Working”. This work concept allows employees to freely choose their workplace depending on the type of activity. Instead of having fixed desks, they have various working environments at their disposal that are specially adapted to different tasks and activities. These include, for example, quiet zones, communal areas and collaboration zones.

We are realising this project in close collaboration with the project team from Endress+Hauser Flow and Hunziker Bürodesign GmbH. SOLTIC is assuming the role of project manager in this project and in this function is responsible, among other things, for converting the space requirements into an occupancy plan as well as the overall scheduling and coordination between the project participants. Change management is led by an expert from the HR department. The office layouts are developed in workshops with the representatives of the respective departments. These are led by Hunziker Bürodesign.

Scheduling is challenging and requires a large number of conversion and relocation stages. Each phase must be precisely planned and timed to ensure the continuity of work processes. We face this challenge together every day.
