Capacity expansion of the SBB maintenance centre in Olten

With a hall exten­sion of 6,500 square metres in Olten, SBB’s main­te­nance capac­i­ties are being expand­ed for the pro­cess­ing of car­riage bod­ies, i.e. the con­struc­tion of rail­way car­riages. In future, the sur­face treat­ment of wag­on bod­ies will be car­ried out here in six addi­tion­al spaces. The new hall was put into oper­a­tion at the end of 2025. SOLTIC sup­ports the project man­age­ment and coor­di­nates the inter­faces between the users, the sys­tem sup­pli­ers and the con­struc­tion site.
