Basel car park for e‑buses

Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe (BVB) is rebuild­ing the Rank garage for its e‑bus fleet and is plan­ning “one of Europe’s largest indoor park­ing facil­i­ties for e‑buses”. The build­ing will be 120 metres long, 70 metres wide and 26 metres high. As part of the gen­er­al plan­ning team from Itten+Brechbühl, SOLTIC is plan­ning the new work­shop, stor­age and oper­at­ing facil­i­ties for the main­te­nance of the new bus fleet.
