“Efficient group logistics” for Dr Falk Pharma and Losan Pharma in Eschbach

Doing things right, i.e. effi­cient­ly, also applies to the group logis­tics of Dr Falk Phar­ma. The com­pa­ny has there­fore opt­ed for a ful­ly auto­mat­ed high-bay ware­house for the new logis­tics cen­tre at the Eschbach site (Ger­many). In addi­tion to the stor­age and dis­tri­b­u­tion of fin­ished goods, the cen­tre also ensures the sup­ply and dis­pos­al of pro­duc­tion and pack­ag­ing for the Group sub­sidiary Losan Phar­ma. 

With space for 20,000 pal­lets, the ware­house has impres­sive dimen­sions. SOLTIC took over the logis­tics plan­ning for the new build­ing — from the fea­si­bil­i­ty study through to real­i­sa­tion. This includes the com­plete site and dis­tri­b­u­tion logis­tics for the two phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal com­pa­nies in Eschbach.

• Sup­ply of phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal pro­duc­tion, pack­ag­ing and the Group’s oth­er logis­tics loca­tions
• Ful­ly auto­mat­ic re-pal­letis­ing and pal­let wrap­ping  
• Autonomous sup­ply of the sam­ple train, pack­ag­ing and pro­duc­tion using an auto­mat­ed guid­ed vehi­cle sys­tem
